Welcome to 3 Pups Bakery!

Hi there, and thank you for visiting our website! My name is Nicole and I am the founder and owner of 3 Pups Bakery here in Duncannon, PA. My "kiddos" meant the world to me, and I always did my best to take care of every part of their lives - from exercise to nutrition.

Over the years, I would make homemade treats for them now and then. But everything changed in 2018, when my boy Kane became very ill and was diagnosed with multiple myeloma on Mother's Day. It was one of the hardest times of my life, but with treatment, Kane pulled through and went on to live a happy, love-filled life.

After his diagnosis, I dove into research and worked with a veterinary nutritionist to find the best ways to support his health. Feeling overwhelmed, I turned to the basics - feeding him wholesome, nutritious, homemade meals and treats so I knew exactly what was going into his body (and my other pups’ bodies too!). For a 101-pound fur kiddo, that was a lot of food, but it was worth every bit of effort.

While there’s no clear answer to why dogs develop this type of cancer, I was determined to give Kane the best life possible. That experience sparked a passion in me - combining my love for baking with my love for dogs.

And that’s how 3 Pups Bakery was born. I’m so excited to share these healthy, homemade treats with you and your pups. I hope your fur kiddos enjoy their special treatos just as much as mine did!

Updates:
-On November 29, 2019, my sweet and handsome boy Kane passed away at the age of 10 from complications with multiple myeloma. Thanks to his treatment, I was blessed with an extra year and a half of precious time and special moments with him - but it still wasn’t nearly long enough. Kane is deeply missed every single day and forever holds a special place in my heart. I love you always, my Kane Boy.

-On September 9, 2021, my sweet and handsome boy Damon crossed the rainbow bridge at 12 1/2 years old. Though we shared so many wonderful years together, it still wasn’t long enough. Damon is now reunited with his brother Kane in puppy heaven, where I imagine them wrestling, playing tug-of-war, and zooming around just as they always loved to do. Fly high, my baby boy - I miss you and love you endlessly.

-On November 26, 2023 my precious girl Zara gained her wings after bravely fighting heart disease. She was smart, loyal, sweet, funny, and just the right amount of sassy. Her 9 years and 5 months with me were filled with joy, but far too short. Zara is now free from her struggles and reunited with her brothers, Damon and Kane, whom she had missed so dearly. I love and miss you deeply, baby girl. Fly high, sweet love - until we meet again.

-On July 1, 2025, I relocated the business to Duncannon, PA, and expanded to include fresh, homemade baked goods for people too! Today, 3 Pups Bakery is both a Dog and Human bakery - the perfect spot to pick up something tasty for yourself and your fur kiddos.
